Pine Haven has been serving Glynn and surrounding counties for over 25 years. Our instructors have achieved the highest level of certification offered (American Riding Instructors Association Level III) are Safe Sport Certified by the United States Equestrian Federation and two are also Georgia-certified teachers!
PHS offers riding lessons and instruction for your very first ride all the way to World and International Champions. We begin formal riding lessons at age 6. This is when the average child is physically capable of safely utilizing the skills needed. We offer top-notch instruction and quality lesson horses. We keep our program small to give each horse and rider the care, instruction, and attention that they need. We want each rider to progress (and horses are not equipment to be tossed in a closet) therefore first priority on scheduling is for students enrolled in a minimum of 2 lessons per week but we continue to offer casual lessons for experienced riders and camps for recreational riders as space is available.
Many of our riders ride just for fun and exercise while some are seasoned competitors so if you are looking for a fun new activity or to join our competition team, we would love to teach you!
We have an outstanding record in competition but our biggest achievement is all of the riders we have introduced to the sport. Safety is paramount at PHS and we have the absolute best lesson horses to introduce you to riding or to improve your skills. We also offer lessons in driving and 5 gaited. We have four outstanding instructors to match your learning style, all of whom are accomplished riders, actively compete and love to share their knowledge.
